    WASH installation instructions:

    • Place the washbasin on a stable, level surface.
    • Connect the hand pump and check that all tanks are correctly installed.

    Special features of the assembly:

    • Regular cleaning of the tanks recommended to avoid odors.
    • Protect against frost by draining the tanks.

    3-stage filtration of water from freshwater sources

    Pre-filter made of PP cotton: removes sand, rust, suspended solids, sediment and protects membrane from clogging

    Ultrafiltration from UF membrane: removes 99.99% of bacteria*, protozoa & microplastics

    Activated carbon: absorbs odors and bad taste

    The water filter can be used in various ways (illustrations can be found in the assembly instructions)

    • the Straw offers the option of drinking directly from the source
    • with the supplied flexible bottle (bladder) or a standard PET bottle, the water can first be collected and then drunk directly through the filter
    • With the 5L Waterbag¹ you can collect 5L (one canister filling for the WASH) and fill it into a canister via the filter (the Waterbag must be held or hung over the filter for this)
